Event Information
CAR PARKING
There will be very limited parking available at the event, and it is requested that any attendees do not block the local access roads or streets. There is additional parking available at New Deer School, New Deer public hall and on Auchreddie Road at the base of the brae.
REGISTRATION
Registration is online only through Entry Central, however limited on the day entries may be available if spaces are available.
Registration is at the All Weather Facility (AB53 6SB) with ample changing and toilets for on the day entry. This will only be possible if the maximum entrants limit has not been reached.
THE COURSE
The run starts (and finishes) at the All Weather Facility at New Deer. The first 2km is on a local trail and within the New Deer show park after which you turn back and head up towards the highest point of the course at the Culsh Monument. This is not for the faint hearted, there is a serious climb to the top but the views are more than worth it. From this point onwards it is downhill all the way, along the down the high street and back to the start.

CANCELLATION OF THE EVENT
Competitors’ and supporters’ health and safety will always be the highest priority for the event organisers. If anything occurs that is outwith our control that would compromise this then we reserve the right to modify, cancel or reschedule the event accordingly. The organisers will communicate any changes through entrants’ email as far ahead as circumstances dictate along with entry decisions. There will be no refunds given but depending on circumstances there may be an option to defer to the following year. The process as it applies will be communicated to all entrants.
Please contact me if there are any questions relating to any of the above.
